Biography

Hi! I am Yikang Wang (王亦康), a final-year PhD candidate at the Bartlett Centre for Advanced Spatial Analysis (CASA), UCL, supervised by Dr Chen Zhong and Prof Michael Batty. Prior to this, I obtained a BEng in GIS from Wuhan University with honours, followed by an MSc in Computational Science at Imperial College London.

I am currently working on my PhD thesis, titled “Exploring the Impacts of Charging Zones on Human Mobility using Mobile Phone Location Data and a Causal Inference Approach”, as part of the realTRIPS (Redefining Variability: EvALuating Land Use and TRansport Impacts on Urban Mobility PatternS) project.
